
The Centre received a delegation from the Danish Defence and Foreign Affairs Ministry led by Niels Bossen on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, as part of their visit to familiarize themselves with the activities, operational framework, and collaborative mechanisms of Zone F within the Yaoundé Architecture. The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain deeper insight into the Centre’s mandate, its role in enhancing maritime security and safety in the Gulf of Guinea, as well as the ongoing efforts to strengthen regional coordination and information sharing among member states. During the visit, the delegation was formally received by the Director of the Centre, Naval Capt.(CIV) Gnamien Ehu who welcomed them and highlighted the Centre’s key achievements, challenges, and strategic priorities. Discussions also focused on strengthening existing partnerships and exploring avenues for future cooperation in support of maritime security in the region. The Centre remains committed to fostering strong international collaboration and appreciates the continued interest and support of partners such as the Kingdom of Denmark in advancing the objectives of the Yaoundé Architecture.
