The MMCC ZONE F is a Multinational Maritime Coordination Cenre which monitors maritime activities/events in Maritime Zone F and shares actionable maritime information among stake holders to support decision making in other to combat maritime crime.
The Centre was operationalized in March 2018 under the Support for West African Integrated Maritime Strategy (SWAIMS) project to implement the Yaoundé Code of Conduct and the ECOWAS Integrated maritime Strategy.
Its membership are made of landlock and coastal countries including Burkina Faso, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
Together we obtain a common Maritime Situational Awareness Picture based on which maritime decisions are made to combat maritime crime.
